मकोय
मकोय का वृक्ष छोटे कद का होता है । इस पर सफ़ेद रंग के फुल आते हैं । इसके फल के गुच्छे होते हैं । यह आम जंगलों, मैदानी क्षेत्रों में प्राकृतिक रूप से जन्म लेता है । इसकी तीन किस्में होती हैं –
सफेद छिलके वाली मकोय, जिसके अंदर लाली लिए पीले रंग का फल होता है । यह खाने के काम आती है ।
कुछ लोग इसे रस भर भी कहता हैं ।
दूसरी काली रंग की मकोय होती है ।
तीसरी लाल रंग की मकोय होती है ।
गुण तथा लाभ
शरीर की सुजन
शरीर का कोई भी भाग चोट से या वैसे ही सूज जाए तो मकोय के पत्तों का अर्क गर्म करके उस पर लेप करें तो शीघ्र आराम आएगा ।
तापतिल्ली रोग नष्ट हो जाता है ।
अफीम का नशा दूर करे
मकोय की पत्तियों का रस निकालकर किसी भी अफीम के नशे में धुत व्यक्ति को पिला देने से उसका नशा दूर हो जाता है ।
