राई
राई का पौधा खेतों में फसल के रूप में पैदा किया जाता है | जैसे-जैसे इसके पौधे बढ़ते हैं किसानों की आशा बढ़ती है | गेहूं की भांति पैदा होने वाली इस फसल में मानव कल्याण के अनेक गुण पाए जाते हैं जिनमें से कुछ एक इस प्रकार से जाने जाते हैं :
चोट लगने पर
राई को पत्थर पर पीसकर लेप तैयार कर के चोट वाले स्थान पर लगाने से घाव भरने लगते हैं तथा सुजन कम होने लगती है |
राई को हर पारकर के अचार में डालते हैं | इससे मानव के हर प्रकार के पेट रोग ठीक हो जाते हैं | वायु रोग से जो अंग विकार हो जाते हैं, उनपर राई को पीसकर गर्म करके लगाने से शीघ्र आराम मिलता है |
पेट दर्द के लिए
राई का चूर्ण 3 ग्राम गर्म पानी के साथ सुबह-शाम सेवन करने से पेट के रोग ठीक हो जाते हैं | राई का चूर्ण दही के साथ खाने से पेट के कीड़े मर जाते हैं ।
राई, गुड़ तथा गूगल पानी में पीसकर किसी बंद मुंह के फोड़े-फुंसी पर लेप करेंगे तो वह फुट पड़ेगा, उस के अंदर की गंदगी निकल जाएगी |
