कहने को तो छोटी-सी जूँ अथवा लींख हमारा क्या बिगाड़ लेंगी | किंतु जब यह आपके सिर में पहुँच जाती है तो इसे दिन दुगनी, रात चौगुनी बढ़ने का करतब आता है | फिर तो देखते ही देखते, आपके बाल तथा सिर इन खून चूसने वाली जुओं का अखाड़ा बन जाता है | यह आपके रेशन से चमकते बालों की बहुत बड़ी शत्रु हैं | चमक-दमक खत्म करना इन्हें आता है |
जुएँ पड़ जाने से आप खुजलाते रहें, मगर जरुरर पूरी नहीं होती | इनसे बचे रहना ही अच्छा |
