Astringent, tonic, antichloristic, haemorrhages from lungs, stomach, uterus, bowels. Good in diarrhea and as an enema. For nose bleed, snuff tea up nose. Inject tea for haemorrhoid. Will restore circulation. Excellent as a gargle.
