Eye Diseases
Causes :
Many eye diseases occur due to irregular sleeping, day sleeping, night vigil, constant observation of remote things, bathing several times with cold water because of summer and hot of the sun, sitting nearby fire constantly, weeping forever, preventing tears, reading excessive small letters and observation of minute things, long anxiety, filling smoke and dust into the eyes, excessive sex, prevention of stool and urine, injury in the eyes or brain, traveling with fast driving and living in filthy areas.
Symptoms :
There are several types of eye diseases so their symptoms are also different as weak eye sight, amblyopia, night blindness, eye redness, swelling, corneal opacity and turning eyelids hair towards eyes, purulent matter, eye pupil outgrowth, Mada, pterygium, eyelids hair fall, cataract, eyes itching, eyes oozing, lachrymatites, stye and etc.
Meal and abstinence:
Having red rice, kidney beans, barley, sespadula, bitter gourd, radish, garlic, ground nightshade, honey, milk, sandal and every types of light substance is useful.
Use of curd, green leaves’ vegetables, watermelon, non-veg, wine, kidney beans (urad), sour vegetables, excessive light, and labour, exercise, walking in the sun, excessive sex and prevention of stool or urine is harmful.
Treatment :
- Every type of eyes ache is cured by washing or dripping tripahla decoction into the eyes.
- Eyes ache originated due to vatta and bile disorder are cured by dripping woman milk into the eyes.
- Grind Bhimsaini camphor with woman milk and apply in the eyes. This preparation ends the cataract of the eye.
- Boil 40 grams ground Indian gooseberry for two hours. Filter it. Eye pupil outgrowth ends by dripping this water into the eyes thrice a day.
- Abrade extract of Indian berberin and myrolealans with Indian gooseberry leaves juice. Its use cures conjunctivitis
- Grind Indian gooseberry on the stone and make a small packet. Tie this packet on the eyes. Eyes ache and ache due to bile both disappear by its use.
- Grind neem seeds properly and filter through a cloth. Apply this powder into the eyes. Its use cures oozing eyes.
- Make a small packet by grinding neem leaves. Ache of Phlegm and bile end by tying this packet on the eyes.
- Grind liquorice, yellow ruddle, rock salt, and extract of Indian Berberin each in equal quantity. All the eye diseases are cured by applying this paste around the eyes. Eyes itching and ache also end by its use.
- Grind turmeric, extract of Indian berberin, clustered hiptage leaves and neem leaves each in little quantity with cow dung juice. Prepare tablets like pea seeds with this prepartion. Night blindness is cured by applying these tablets in the eyes like collyrium.
- Grind turmeric, mango ginger, cinnamon bark and neem leaves each 20 grams. Grind this mixture again for 6 hour regularly in 6 months old cow calf urine. Now make tablets of this preparation and dry these in shadow. Abrade one tablet with rose water and apply in the eyes like collyrium. The disease named pterygium is cured soon by its use.
- Eye ache ends by applying aloe Vera pulp juice in the eyes at night before sleeping.
- Grind black pepper, small pepper and dry ginger with honey. Night blindness is cured by applying this paste.
- If eyelids hair is turning towards the eyeball, first uproot such hair carefully and after that apply a paste of black pepper’s cloth filtered powder, jiggery and ruddle. This medicine reduces the ache of eyes.
- Make a small packet by grinding pomegranate leaves or bamboo leaves. Tie this packet on the eyes before sleeping at night for 3-4 days regularly. Its use ends eye redness.
- Grind alum, rock salt and extract of Indian berberin with woman milk. Apply this paste in the eyes for the treatment of conjunctivitis.
- Grind alum with rose water and apply in the eyes. Eye pupil outgrowth and eye web disappear by its use.
- Grind alum with water and apply on the eyelids if eyelids hair is turning towards eyeball. Orpiment can also be used. This disease is cured within seven days by such formulae.
- Abrade alum and camphor with rosewater and pour into eyes. Eye redness, ache in eyes and other eye diseases end by dripping this preparation into the eyes.
- Abrade extract of Indian Berberin with rose water. Eye redness caused due to heat ends by applying this paste.
- Eyelids swelling reduces by applying ground extract of Indian Berberin with water.
- Abrade black pepper with bitter gourd leaves juice and apply this paste in the eyes like collyrium. Night blindness ends within three days by its use.
- Apply ground Strychons Potaorum in the prepliminary stage of cataract. It use destroys cataract.
- Grind gallnut and myrolealans (jangi harad) each in equal quantity. Apply this paste on the eyelids. Eyelids and eyes itching disappear by its application.
- Eyes or eyelids itching end by applying ground and filtered ash of eggs peel in the eyes.
- Mix sugar candy in onion juice and use as collyrium. It ends eyes heat. Application of red sandal is also a good remedy for eye diseases.
- Eye ache ends by dripping onion juice in the eyes.
- Grind mimusops and albizzia ledbeck seeds and filter. Dissolve well this powder with albizzia lebbeck leaves juice in a mortar. Dry this mixture in shadow. Prepare tablets of this preparation. Grind these tablets with woman milk and apply in eyes. Its use cures eye pupil outgrowth and manda.
- Grind cuttle fish bone with Indian cotton plant oil. Eye pupil outgrowth ends by applying this paste in the eyes.
- Prepare powder by grinding barrengtonia acutangula kernel, mimusoaps hexandra seeds and small myrolealans seeds. Dissolve this powder with lemon juice and make tablets. Dry these tablets in shadow. Grind a tablet with water and apply in the eyes like collyrium. Its use cures eye pupil outgrowth, granular trachoma, oozing eyes and other eyes diseases.
- Filter ground red sandal and toasted alum each 10 grams. After that grind this mixture with aloe vera pulp and make tablets. Grind a tablet and apply in the eyes. Its use cures manda, eye web and pterygium.
- Grind stag’s horn with milk and apply this mixture in the eyes like collyrium. Its use ends eye web.
- Grind pigeon or bird dung and apply in the eyes. Eye pupil outgrowth ends by this medicine.
- Grind dry ginger, alum and black salt each in equal quantity. Filter this powder. Eye pupil outgrowth ends by applying this powder.
- Grind 20 grams yellow myrolealans seeds, 30 grams beleric myrobalans kernel and 40 grams Indian gooseberry seeds kernel. Prepare tablets of this preparation. Grind a tablet and apply on the eyes like collyrium. Its use ends eyes itching and eyes oozing.
- Grind ebony wood and apply in the eyes. Its use cures eyes oozing.
- Grind well lambs quarter’s leaves and tobacco flower with cow ghee. Lachrymatites is cured by applying this medicine.
- Grind elephant creeper with water and make a roll. Lachrymatites is cured by putting this roll in sore.
- Grind tinospora and turmeric on slab. Heat this paste with four folds sweet oil and eight folds water until it remains little. Filter it and pour into nose. Its use cures lachrymatites of the eye corner.
- Several eye diseases are cured by applying old ghee in the eyes like collyrium.
- Grind beleric myrobelans with woman milk and apply it in the eyes like collyrium. Eye pupil outgrowth ends by applying this medicine like collyrium.
- Sty disappears by applying saffron ground with cold water.
- Boil chirmiti with water and apply this water on the eyelids. Its use ends eye swelling, burning sensation, conjunctivitis and purulent matter.
- Several eye diseases are cured by pouring black sesame oil into the eyes regularly.
- Grind opium and saffron with rose water. Its use ends eye redness.
- Dry a roll soaked in Madars milk. Dip this roll in ghee and prepare collyrium by burning it. This collyrium cures all types of eye diseases.
- Apply own spit in the eyes like collyrium in early morning after getting up regularly. Its use cures all types of eye diseases and no disease occurs in the eyes in future.
