शहतूत (देसी)
शहतूत का वृक्ष बहुत बड़ा होता है । इसमें दो प्रकार के फल लगते हैं । सफेद और काले । इनके आकार भी दो प्रकार के होते हैं लंबे तथा छोटे । परंतु इन दोनों की तासीर ठंडी होती है । इसके फलों का शर्बत भी निकाल कर पिया जाए तो शरीर की सारी गर्मी को दूर करता है ।
गुण तथा लाभ
भूख न लगने पर शहतूत का रस निकालकर थोड़ा काला नमक और काली मिर्च डालकर हर रोज सुबह उठकर सेवन करने से खूब भूख लगेगी ।
जिगर की खराबी
जिगर की खराबी से पाचन शक्ति बहुत कम हो जाती है । प्रयत्न करने पर लोग खाना नहीं खा सकते । ऐसे में लोगों को 200 ग्राम शहतूत पके हुए प्रतिदिन खिलाएं, हर प्रकार के जिगर रोग ठीक हो जाएंगे ।
लू
लू लगने पर शहतूत का शर्बत इलायची के साथ देने से रोगी ठीक हो जाता है ।
