निसीत
निसीत हमें कई रंगों में उपलब्ध होती है ।
1. सफ़ेद
2. श्याम
3. लाल
4. काली
सफेद निसीत की बेल जंगलों में होती है । इस पर सफेद रंग के फुल आते हैं, उनमें चार-चार बीज होते हैं । इसके पत्ते नुकीले तथा गोल होते हैं । इस बील की लकड़ी में तीन धारे होती हैं । सफेद निसीत को सबसे अच्छा गुणकारी माना जाता है ।
काली निसीत
इसे एक लता के रूप में देखा जा सकता है । इसके फुल बैंगनी रंग के होते हैं । पत्ते गोल नुकीले होते हैं, जो आकार में सफेद निसीत से कुछ छोटे होते हैं । फल भी उससे कुछ छोटा शेष होता है, सब चीज सफेद निसीत से मिलती-जुलती होती है ।
लाल निसीत
लाल निसीत भी ऐसी ही होती है ।
गुण तथा लाभ
जिन लोगों को पुराना कब्ज रोग हो उनके लिए यह बहुत लाभकारी दिद्ध हुआ है ऐसे रोगियों को पत्तों का रस दो-दो चम्मच दिन में दो बार देने से कब्ज रोग दूर हो जाता है ।
