चित्रक (चीता, लाल चीता)
चीता एक वृक्ष है, इसकी अनेक जातियां हैं, अपने आप प्राकृतिक रूप से जन्म लेने वाला यह चित्रक मानव जाती के लिए अति उपयोगी माना जाता है ।
गुण तथा पर्योग
सफेद चीता
चित्रक द्वारा हम चरपरा, रुक्ष, उष्ण, त्रिदोष जैसे रोगों के उपचार में सहयोग प्राप्त कर सकते हैं । इसके साथ-साथ कोढ़, शोथ, बवासीर, संग्रहणी जैसे भयंकर रोगों के उपचार में यह चित्रक उपयोगी सिद्ध हो चूका है ।
लाल चीता
इसमें करीब सब गुण सफेद चीते जैसे होते हैं । कुष्ठ रोगों को नाश करने में लाल चीता अधिक उपयोगी सिद्ध हुआ है ।
काला चीता
जिन लोगों के वाल समय से पूर्व सफेद हो गए हों उन्हें काले चीता के पत्तों का रस अथवा इसकी जड़ कूट-पीसकर पानी में डालकर हलके हाथ से पुरे सिर पर लगाने से बाल काले हो जाते हैं ।
