मूंग
मूंग के पौधे, चने के पौधे की भांति उतने ही कद के होते हैं । इसमें लंबी फलियां लगती हैं जिन में से दाने निकलते हैं ।
यह एक लोकप्रिय डाल है जो भारत में करीब-करीब सब घरों में किसी न किसी रूप में बनती हैं । यदि किसी घर में नहीं भी बनती तो घरवाले इसका नाम तो जानते ही हैं ।
लाभ तथा गुण
पेट रोगों तथा बुखार में रोगी को मुंग की दाल (छिलके वाली) देनी चाहिए । यह दाल बहुत जल्द हजम होती है । इससे अंतड़ियों पर कोई बोझ भी नहीं पड़ता ।
जलने पर
यदि कोई प्राणी आग में जल जाए तो उसके जले हुए स्थान पर मुंग की दाल को पानी में पीसकर लेप तैयार करके लगा दें ।
आम कमजोरी के लिए
मुंग की दाल के लड्डू बराबर वजन का खोया, देसी घी, बादाम की गिरी, चारों मगज, किशमिश डालकर बनाकर घर में रखें ।
सुबह शाम, एक-एक लड्डू गाय के दूध के साथ सेवन करने से कमजोरी दूर हो जाती है ।
