First aid treatment of Heart attack its causes, prevention and diagnose- “Heart attack”

Heart attack

If the blood supply to the heart is suddenly obstructed by a clot in one of the coronary arteries, the heart muscle undergoes infarction (death). This is called a heart attack.

The condition is diagnosed by the following features:

1. The onset is acute and occurs usually at rear
2. There is retrostenal pain which is of gripping or constricting nature. It is not relived by rest.
3. There is excessive sweating and vomiting.
4. Breathlessness and restlessness are often present.
5. The pulse is rapid.
6. Cyanosis may be present.

First aid

1. Place the patient in comfortable position.
2. Monitor his vital parameters.
3. Send him to a hospital immediately
