Burns-Types of dangers of burn and its effects
- Shock: initially the shock is neurogenic, due to the severe pain experienced by the victim. Later it becomes hypovolemic, due to of body fluids.
- Infection: There is big risk of infection with burns because skin is injured and bacteria settle raw area. The infection can spread into the blood stream (septicemia).
- Toxemia: it is due to spread of toxins from the burnt area into the circulation.
- Anamia: it is due to destruction of red blood cells in the blood due to burns.
