अडूसा वृक्ष
यह छोटे कद का एक प्राकृतिक पौधा है जो अधिकतर जंगलों तथा खुले मैदानी क्षेत्रों में पाया जाता है ।
अडूसा के पत्ते हरे तथा काफी लंबे होते हैं परंतु जब पाक जाते हैं तो उनका रंग पीला हो जाता है । इस पर सफेद रंग के फुल खिलते हैं । यदि आप फुल को तोड़ेंगे तो अडूसा की डंडी में से सफेद रंग का रस निकलता नजर आएगा, जो काफी मीठा होता है ।
लाभ तथा गुण
अडूसा के फल टी.बी. के रोगियों के लिए गुणकारी होते हैं ।
खांसी के रोग में अडूसा का अर्क सेंधा नमक मिलाकर पीने से हर प्रकार की खांसी ठीक हो जाती है ।
दांतों के रोग
दांतों के रोगों में अडूसा के पत्तों को लेकर उन्हें पानी मेंखुब उबालें । जब पानी सुखकर आधा रह जाए तो उसे छानकर कुल्ले करें । एक सप्ताह तक ऐसा करने से दांतों के सब रोग दूर हो जाएंगे तथा मुंह की गंध भी नष्ट हो जाएगी ।
दमा रोग
अडूसा के पके पत्तों के रस में या उनकी जड़ के काढ़े में अभ्रक या कांतिसार मिलाकर सेवन करने दमा रोग, पुरानी खांसी, प्रमेह तथा मूत्र धात जैसे रोग ठीक हो जाते हैं ।
नकसीर
अडूसा का रस तथा शहद को मिलाकर एक सप्ताह तक चाटने से नकसीर रोग ठीक हो जाता है ।
मुंह से खून आने पर
अडूसा की छाल मुनक्का तथा हरड का छिलका इन सब को बराबर का पानी डालकर आग पर पका कर काढ़ा बनाएं, इस काढ़े को एक-एक चम्मच सुबह-शाम सेवन करेंगे और इसी के कुल्ले भी करेंगे तो मुंह से खून आना बंद हो जाएगा ।
फोड़े-फुंसियों पर
अडूसा की जड़ को पीसकर उसका लेप फोड़ों पर करें तो फोड़े-फुसियां कुछ दिनों में ठीक हो जाते हैं ।
अडूसा की चाय सुबह-शाम दोनों समय पीएं तो शरीर चुस्त रहेगा ।
