Chaturthak Fever
What is Chaturthak Fever :
The fever, which comes on every fourth day with headache and pain, is called Chaturthak Fever.
Treatment :
- Give 15 to 30 ml juice of the fresh leaves of five leaved chaste with 5 to 10 g honey 3 times in a day. It ends chaturthak fever.
- Take 1 gram powder of the fruit of long pepper, 1 gram ghee and 5 grams loaf sugar with 250 ml milk and 5 ml honey 3 times in a day. It provides relief in chaturthak fever.
- Mix 15 to 30 ml decoction of triphala with the same quantity of milk or jaggery and then take in the morning, noon and evening. It provides benefit in chaturthak fever.
- Take 15 to 30 ml decoction of triphala (harad, baheda and aamla), stem of tinospora, and the leaves of vasa 3 times in a day. It provides relief in chaturthak fever.
- Prepare the decoction be boiling dry ginger, piper root, black musli , the fruit of karkoti, pulp of argavadh fal, balak fruit and myrabalan chebulie fruit and then take 14 to 28 ml this decoction with 1g impure carbonate of potash 3 times in a day, it provides benefit in chaturthak fever.
- Prepare the decoction by boiling an equal quantity of sespadula’s leaves, liquorices root, mustak helle bore (kutaki) and myrabalan chebulie in water. Now take 15 to 30 ml this decoction 3 times in a day. It ends chaturthak fever.
- Prepare a decoction by boiling an equal quantity of sespadula’s leaves, neem’s bark, triphala (harad, aamla and baheda), pluchea lanceolata’s root and dry grapes in water together. Now take this decoction with 5 to 10 grams loaf sugar and 5 to 10 grams honey 3 times in a day.
- Take 15 to 30 ml mixture of mustak’s root, dry ginger and the root of kantkari with about ź gram powder of long pepper and 5 grams honey 3 times in a day. It provides benefit in chaturthak fever.
- Prepare a decoction by boiling an equal quantity of flealeane and dry ginger and then take 15 to 30 ml this decoction 3 times in a day, it provides relief in chaturthak fever.
- Prepare the mixture by mixing an equal quantity of liquorice root, oosheermul, red sandalwood, and aamlaki fruit. Then prepare the decoction by boiling this mixture and coriander fruits, the stem of tinospora, sespadula’s leaves in water. Now take 15 to 30 ml it with 5 to 10 grams loaf sugar or 5 to 10 grams honey 3 times in a day consequently, chaturthak fever does not occur.
- Take 14 to 28 ml decoction prepared by boiling neem’s bark, sespadula’s leaves, dry grapes, triphala (harad, aamla, and baheda), the fruit of bitter gourd and oval leaved rose way in water with 5 to 10 grams honey 3 times in a day. It ends chaturthak fever.
- Take about 14 to 28 ml mixture as a dose after mixing an equal quantity of the stem of tinospora, aamlaki fruit, mustak root and dry grapes. Chaturthak fever is ended by using it.
- Mix an equal quantity of the stem of tinospora, neem’s bark and aamlaki fruit and store then take 14 to 28 ml decoction, prepared from it, with 5 to 10 grams honey 3 times in a day. It provides benefit in chaturthak fever.
- Take 14 to 28 ml decoction, prepared from an equal quantity of chireta panchang (root, leaves, stem, fruit and flower of chireta), the stem of tinospora, red sandal wood and dry ginger, 3 times in a day.
- Prepare the decoction by boiling an equal quantity of vasamool, aamlaki, myrolealans fruit, desmodium gangeticum panchang (root, stem, leaves, fruits and flowers), Himalayan cedar wood and dry ginger in water then take 14 to 28 ml it with 5 to 10 grams loaf sugar and 5 grams honey 3 times in a day. It is beneficial in chaturthak fever.
- Prepare a decoction by boiling an equal quantity of Usheermool, mustakmool, red sandalwood, the stem of tinospora and dhanyak fruit in water and then take 14 to 28 ml it 3 times in a day. Chaturthak fever disappears by using it.
- Mix 7 ml juice of albizzia lebbeck benth flower, 3g powder of turmeric (haridra prakand), 3g powder of Indian berberry and 5 to 10g ghee. Now drip 2 to 4 drops of it in the nose 2 times in a day. Chaturthak fever disappears by using it.
- One thousand leaves of Indian sorrel should be boiled after grinding them in 16 folds water. When it became thick then put ghee as much as it becomes like rabadi (a sweet preparation, prepared from boiled milk and sugar). Now take 5 to 10g it to cure fever within 3 days.
