The condition is diagnosed by the following features.

First Aid

1. Give sips cold water of frequent intervals. He may be given small pieces of ice to suck.
2. Remove constructing garments or jewelry from around the neck and chest
3. Shift victims of corrosive burns to a hospital immediately.
