Hazardous substances-Accident with hazardous substances and its first aid treatment
Accident may complicate by spillage of dangerous substances carried in the vehicle, e.g. a tanker. A rescue attempt must not be made until me is sure that one will not come in with such a substance.
First aid
- Keep bystanders away from the site of the accident.
- Stand upwind of the accident, so that you do inhale any fumes that may have leaked out.
